Traumatic Brain Injury
Helping us understand brain injury better
A traumatic brain injury (TBI) happens when a bang, blow or force to the head damages the brain. It can affect memory, concentration, movement, behaviour and everyday life.
At Re:Cognition Health, we support research that helps us better understand brain injury and how to treat it.
Does this sound like you, or someone you care for?
We’d like to hear from people who:
- Are aged between 18-70, male or female
- Have a family member, friend or carer who can support them during the study
- Had a head injury that was assessed in hospital between 2 and 8 weeks ago
- Are in rehabilitation now, or expect to go to rehabilitation after leaving hospital
- Can travel to London or Winchester regularly
If this sounds like you or someone you support, please call us. Our research team will explain the study and answer your questions. Calling does not commit you to taking part.
Taking part is your choice
Each study has its own requirements, such as the type of injury and how long ago it happened. Taking part is completely voluntary, and you’ll get full information before you decide anything.
